A LITTLE BIT ABOUT VALERIE

Hi there, I'm Valerie Gonzalez! Life around here in West Texas involves being a stay-at-home mom, running around chasing my two amazing kids, and truly thriving in my 'homestead era.' At heart, I'm a total 'girl's girl' – seriously, if you need a sister-friend, call me sister! I'm always ready for a good chat over coffee, especially if we're discussing Handmaid's Tale, 1923, or just life itself.

My love for photography feels like a true calling, blossoming when I felt God gifted me the lens to see the incredible beauty He created here on Earth. As I've prayed for Him to amplify this gift He's given me, I've felt a significant shift in the way I photograph. I'm now leaning deeply into a documentary style, especially for weddings and quinceañeras. My passion lies in capturing the raw emotions, the unraveling stories told through feelings in that very moment, often beyond what words can express.

While I'm still a hopeless romantic thrilled by weddings and deeply touched by quince traditions (especially as a girl mom!), my focus now is on documenting the authentic narrative – helping the real queen within shine through genuine, unscripted moments. I truly believe this is my amplified gift: the gift of sharing these powerful, emotional stories so they can be treasured and passed down for generations to come.
